Pegasus Airlines

Pegasus Airlines is a low-cost airline based in Turkey, offering domestic and international scheduled services to a wide range of destinations.

Pegasus Airlines History

Established in 1990, Pegasus Airlines began its operations as a joint venture between Aer Lingus  and Net and Silkar, to create an inclusive tour charter airline. After two years, Aer Lingus and Net sold their shares in the company in 1994 to Istanbul-based Yapı Kredi bank, making Pegasus a purely Turkish company. Since then, Pegasus Airlines has grown steadily, expanding its fleet and route network to become one of the leading airlines in Turkey.
